Michael Thomas Sunnarborg is a dynamic and creative teacher, coach, author, and award-winning photographer. His personable style and witty approach to life have helped make him an effective and successful leader in both the educational and professional environments. Michael’s adventures have taken him to living in the South Pacific to India; from modeling for magazines and television to having his own radio show; from hiking in the Swiss Alps to running in the Honolulu Marathon. Whether it is scuba diving or skydiving, Michael’s main objective is to experience the world and the amazing people in it.

In his scholarly travels, Michael has obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Human Relations and a Master’s degree in I.T. Education & Training. In 2007, Michael earned his Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and is still an active member of PMI, ASTD, and the e-Learning Guild. His professional experience includes over 15 years in corporate and private industry, healthcare, and technology. In addition, Michael taught for the University of Phoenix for eight years in the departments of Graduate and Undergraduate Business & Management. Michael worked for a Fortune 25 retailer and completed an expatriate assignment in Bangalore, India, from 2007-2008, developing global training programs for U.S. and international locations, and traveled to 16 different countries in 12 months. In the summer of 2009, Michael returned to his consulting business to focus on his teaching, photography, and other creative projects. Since his return to consulting he has become more involved in public speaking, group and individual coaching, and custom training. In addition, Michael has received numerous awards for this photography including being licensed by National Geographic.
